From personal experience to a powerful mission
GenR Connect was inspired by a deeply personal journey: my experience as a caregiver for my father. He's a disabled senior who initially felt completely overwhelmed by technology. Basic tasks like using a computer or navigating a smartphone were intimidating for him.
Through patient, step-by-step teaching and consistent practice, everything changed. Today, he is not only confident using his devices, but he also helps other residents in his senior community. He understands apps, manages his banking, uses MyChart, and knows how to recognize and avoid most scams. Watching that transformation from fear to independence to helping others showed me what's possible when seniors are given the right support.
